The main reason for this merger was to consolidate its product lines and brands under one administrative roof with the goal of increasing growth and turn over within one company and entering a new era where a public offering might be achievable.
To help attain this goal a fairly large HR exercise was initiated. First an updated administrative software system. Next came a general upgrading of inefficient practices and old techniques accompanied by a strong recruiting drive to increase the administrative and technical base with academically qualified personnel.
Then came the retraining of its existing staff. The sharing of knowhow and resources which had been lacking in the past now fell under one corporate umbrella and by teaching and increasing the flexibility of its staff, the new company is able to take on larger projects with quicker response times.
